Skin blemishes, declared enemies of aesthetics and quality of life, are a growing global problem that most frequently affects adults over 50.

This Women’s History Month, we want to discuss everyday topics and questions that my patients frequently ask. At our clinic, it’s very common to hear questions like these from those who visit me for treatments or evaluations.

This is a common topic among women, and some men discuss it as well. Often, women lose the freedom to wear certain types of clothing, such as sleeveless blouses or shirts, or they seek to wear garments at the beach or in private that cover areas they consider unattractive because they are darkened.

Over the years, our skin becomes prone to the appearance of dilated blood vessels, dark spots from sun exposure, and rosacea caused by stress, temperature changes, allergies, certain medications, etc.
