Procedure Reservation Policy

1. Objective The purpose of this policy is to regulate the conditions for booking, scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation of aesthetic, medical, and medical-aesthetic procedures, ensuring the proper planning of the clinic’s human, technological, and medical resources . 2. Booking Procedures To book any aesthetic, medical, or medical-aesthetic procedure, the patient must make a deposit or advance payment, which:

  • It guarantees the availability of a medical appointment.
  • It allows for the clinical and logistical preparation of the procedure.
  • It covers administrative, medical, and opportunity costs associated with the reservation.

3. Non-Refund Policy NO REFUNDS ARE ISSUED Once the deposit or reservation payment has been made: It is non-refundable under any circumstances. No refunds will be given in cash or by any other means of payment. No exceptions will be made for personal reasons, changes of mind, or patient absence. This condition is communicated prior to payment and voluntarily accepted by the patient. 4. Rescheduling

  • The patient may reschedule their procedure only once, provided that: o They give at least 48 business hours’ notice
  • Rescheduling will be subject to availability.
  • If the stated deadline is not met, the deposit will be automatically lost.

5. Absence

  • Failure of the patient to appear on the scheduled date and time: – Implies the total loss of the amount paid – Does not generate the right to a refund or rescheduling

6. Exceptional medical cases In situations where the procedure cannot be performed due to medical criteria, duly documented by the treating professional:

  • The amount paid may be rescheduled as an internal credit
  • This credit may only be used for another procedure within the clinic
  • No refunds will be issued.

7. Applicable legal framework in Costa Rica This policy is based on:

  • Article 1022 of the Civil Code of Costa Rica (Autonomy of the will and validity of contracts between the parties)
  • Principle of good faith in contracts. The patient accepts the conditions freely, knowingly, and voluntarily.
  • Law No. 7472 – Law for the Promotion of Competition and Effective Defense of

Consumer: Provided the conditions are: – Clear – Informed in advance – Not misleading or abusive. The clinic fulfills its duty to provide clear, prior, and verifiable information, which legitimizes the no-refund policy. 8. Patient Acceptance: Payment of the reservation fee implies that the patient:

  • He has read
  • Understand
  • You fully accept this Reservation and Non-Refund Policy, expressly waiving any subsequent claims for a refund.
