What does the Lumecca treatment consist of?
Amongst the treatments with intense pulsed light (IPL) is located Lumecca, a method that consists of supplying 40% of the total pulse energy in the range of optimal hemoglobin and melanin absorption values, through a xenon flash lamp.
The contribution is significant, if we assume that standard IPLs provide only between 10% and 15% of the optimal absorption values.
The difference translates into Lumecca's high affinity for the pigments responsible for eye, skin and hair color. The results of treating abnormal melanin concentrations are high and safe.
